Favourite Sports Themes

We're often contacted with queries about archive or existing sports music themes. We do our best to answer them all. Now, in association with iTunes we are commissioning a sequence of iMixes that will provide you with the opportunity to download your favourite sports music.

The first in the series, Music For Sport UK, features 12 classic sports tracks including Winfred Atwell's Black and White Rag (used as the theme tune for the BBC's snooker series Pot Black), Pop Looks Bach (Ski Sunday), Ron Goodwin's The Trap, (London Marathon), Out Of The Blue by The Grimethorpe Colliery Band (Sports Report), Soul Limbo by Booker T and The MG's (Cricket: Test Match Special), Chariots Of Fire, Gabriel's Oboe, The Chain, (Formula 1 Motor Racing), Won't Get Fooled Again, Eye Of The Tiger, and Eminem's classic Lose Yourself.
